In the latest Copernicus Quarterly, as is our custom, we showcase science from a variety of perspectives: from storytelling stories, to short news stories, to in-depth analyses and interviews. Each of the materials is different and conveys a distinct aspect of information and knowledge, but they all have one thing in common – it is science through which we learn, we know, we grow. In a world where everything is on the move, it is this, whether perceived by us or not, that helps us move forward.
We therefore encourage, above all, to take a moment to pause from our daily duties, rush and hurry, to take a breath and reflect on what creates and determines our everyday life. In essence, however, science is not only a tool but also a process that shapes our culture, our way of thinking and our understanding of the world.
Let the articles of our Quarterly, i.e. bees and space missions, the properties of two-dimensional materials or Poles’ attitudes to climate change, among others, bring you closer to this beautiful process.
We invite you to read not only inspiring talks, but also carefully selected articles from the chapters Science, Society and International Relations!
