On December 3, 2025, Warsaw hosted the seventh edition of the Our Future Forum—a conference that, since 2021, has brought together the academic community, public administration, and the private sector to discuss the most pressing challenges of our time.
This year’s edition, dedicated to the theme “The Digital Revolution: Scientific Perspectives and Social Challenges,” brought together 2,100 in-person participants and over 2,400 online attendees. The program included expert panels, a session of scientific presentations, and a poster session showcasing projects by young researchers. Discussions focused on topics such as AI in medicine and education, cybersecurity, privacy in the era of big data, and the psychosocial effects of digitization.
The post-conference report, prepared in collaboration with Kozminski University, documents the proceedings of the conference, the papers presented, and the recommendations developed by the participants.

Forecasting demographic trends is a formidable task, especially in countries undergoing upheaval and transition, as there is a high risk of many changes. This problem becomes particularly apparent when we look at the UN demographic forecast models. It is easy to see a marked decrease in accuracy as we move away from the present. For example, the demographic forecast model for the EU for 2100 predicts from 401 million inhabitants in the most pessimistic scenario to 830 million inhabitants in the optimistic version (UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Section, 2022).
A variety of external and internal factors that are difficult to predict make it difficult to estimate a clear trajectory of demographic development. However, there is no doubt this trajectory is going to have collossal impact on our and future generations’ way of life. Find out more in our report.
